An oversized stainless steel Oyster case with flared lugs makes this one of the most interesting vintage Tudor watches I have owned in a while. The Tudor case reference is 4540 and it is fitted with the Tudor manual wind calibre 65, which is similar to the Rolex vintage calibre 59 movement found in the Canadian Oysters and Victory or Skyrocket models. The watch was just serviced and is keeping excellent time. The Silver/white dial appears to have been restored but has the highly sought after 3,6, 9 and 12 Arabic markers that are found on the Rolex Explorer. The Watch is fitted with an original Rolex Oyster Patent crown that screws down tightly. This watch dates to the mid 1950’s and is sized larger than most vintage watches as it measures 34mm wide (excluding the crown) which is teh same size as a Rolex Air King watch. This Tudor Oyster Brock can be supplied on your choice of either a black or brown leather strap.
